Molecular Diagnostic Services (Pty) Ltd, (MDS) was founded by Dr Denis York in 1997 and has grown to be known as a specialist molecular diagnostic laboratory focusing on:

• Human and veterinary diseases,
• DNA paternity and relationship testing,
• Women’s health,
• Genetic testing,
• and Personalized wellness testing.

MDS is SANAS accredited to ISO 17025:2017 and ISO 15189:2012.

The aim of the Wellness Division (WellPro) is to promote health and wellness through personalised testing using the latest scientific methods. The tests offered in this division provide opportunity to explore possible causes of one’s current symptoms, as well as provide personalised nutrition and lifestyle guidance, unique to their genetic make-up, that are key to health and wellness.
